With polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS), in addition to inorganic-organic hybrid material possesses general performance, its cage type three dimensional stability structure also makes it has the unique properties such as high strength, impact resistant. Because the connection side chain organic functional groups can be made of selected starting materials vary, as to enrich the diversity of products also increased through chemical modification to broaden its range of application possibilities. This topic to try through chemical modification, and introduce the double bond functional group acrylate class system, the preparation of a cage containing half siloxane photosensitive resin composition; Characterization of the resin and spectroscopy of physical and chemical properties; Test and evaluation including the UV curing characteristics and curing of the resin composite membrane on coating performance. Concrete research content has the following three parts:1,With reference to synthesis method of [56], preparation of the polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane with epoxy groups. In the siloxane and acrylate as raw materials, under the catalysis of N, N-dimethyl aniline, preparation for UV curing acrylic ester compounds containing POSS. Discussed the dosage of the catalyst, the influence of reaction temperature on the acrylic acid conversion rate, the better reaction conditions, and the curing properties are discussed in this paper, the light initiator dosage, the dosage of the kinds of active monomers on the influence of the cured film. Results show that:(1) To get a better reaction conditions as follows:N, N-dimethylaniline dosage is2.5%; Reaction temperature is105℃, reaction time is about4h, the yield reached96.66%.(2) Light initiator dosage is good with3%, the dosage of the TP is20%when the film comprehensive performance is good.2,Through the improvement to the method of hydrolysis and condensation, polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane with amino was prepared, using FIR, GPC and LC/MS, the synthetic products were characterized, the results show that composite products containing more cage structure. By Michael addition method, using more functional group acrylate hybrid materials of amino POSS modification, synthesis of POSS hybrid of UV curing materials, preliminary discuss the influence of temperature on the reaction solution, reaction time and reaction temperature on the amino of the conversion, the influence of draw better reaction conditions as follows:the titration temperature0℃, the reaction temperature was60℃, reaction time10h, its amino conversion rate can reach87.8%.3, Compared synthetic amino POSS/acrylate hybrid materials (LTM and LTP) with six functional groups of polyurethane acrylate (7600) combination of curing time, curing performance with thermal performance, LTM and7600composite film comprehensive performance is better, to LTM as the research object, and add to the coating formulation for performance study, results show that the LTM to join that wear resistance and hardness of the paint film is improved, but the poor permeability.
