Based on a large number of articles,arming to improve the burning behavior of the double based propellant,with the guided of theory of producing oriated foamed polymer.The foamed doubled based propellant was preduced with supercritical CO2fluid in the bath foaming process.scanning electron microscopy was used to study the Influence of foaming parameter such as saturation pressure,saturation temperature, foaming temperature to the cell morphology and mechanical properties; the closed bomb text was used to study the burning behaviour of the propellant.The result shows that:the cell size and cell density of the double based foamed Propellant can be adjusted by the expansion ratio,the cell of the limited foaming turn out to be oriented; as a result of the difference in the material in absorbing energy during the impact, the limited foamed propellant shows a better impact strength compared to free foaming, the greater the expansion ratio is, the bigger cell size.the impact strength of the corresponding reduced;the burning behaviour of the limited foamed propellant performance between free foamed and the originals. As foaming expansion ratio grows,the greater the burning speed.propellant plasticizer,foaming temperature,saturation pressure and other processes also affect cell morphology of the foamed propelllant. Closed bomb test results also showed that the burning speed of the foamed propellant is significantly improved.
