Arsenic antimony fumes are fumes which has high content of As and Sb during recovery of precious metals in the anode slime. There are a lot of valuable metal in the fumes, including As,Sb,Pb,Ag ed. So, arsenic antimony fumes have a high recovery value. When researchers studied on handling the materials which has high arsenic and antimony, they focused on not only recover the antimony, but also govern the arsenic. But due to arsenic and antimony have the same main group, and similar in nature, there is difficult problem to separate arsenic and antimony in metallurgical industry.In this paper, we use hydrochloric acid leaching arsenic and antimony, then reduce arsenic by sodium hypophosphite, recycling arsenic in the form of elemental arsenic which has litter toxicity. Next, we use hydrolysis to make antimony separating from other elements. Final, when the solution has EDTA, we use ammonia to get Sb2O3.Through the study on acid leaching arsenic antimony fumes, we get that when the liquid-solid ratio8:1, temperature is90℃, leaching time are2hours and the concentration of hydrochloric acid is5moI/L, the leaching efficiency of As and Sb are over97%and95%. At the same time, the silver and most of lead in fumes stayed in leach residue. So, we can recover Ag and Pb from the leach residue.Sodium hypophosphite was used to reduced arsenic from hydrochloride leaching solution, and the suitable reduction condition was the temperature is80℃, time are2hours, and the excess coefficient of sodium hypophosphite is2.0.The percent reduction of As is over90%, and the percent reduction of Sb is about3.88%, reach the purpose that separated from As and Sb.After the reduction solution was hydrolyzed to separated Sb and other elements, when the dilution ratio was6:1, hydrolyzing time was1.5h, and hydrolyzing temperature was25℃, the hydrolysis rate of Sb will be95%. When ratio of liquid to solid was1.5:1, reaction temperature was25℃, reaction time was0.5h, ammonia excessive coefficient was1.5,we can get the rate of Sb2O3production was94.8%, the purity of Sb2O3is91.8%.By expanding comprehensive experiment, the leaching efficiency of As, Sb are96.23%,90.39%. The percent reduction of As is88.66%, percent reduction of Sb is 2.62%, achieved the goal of separating from As and Sb. Chloride-hydrolysis technology is adopted to product antimony trioxide, the hydrolysis rate of Sb is92.62%, we get the rate of Sb2O3production was93.02%, the purity of Sb2O3is90.83%, the recovery of antimony can reach up to75.83%Using acid leaching and hydrolysis to reducing arsenic and recycling antimony are adopted to process arsenic antimony fumes. This method is not only successes in recovery of antimony, but also can decrease the harm of arsenic, recovering arsenic in the form of elemental arsenic. Achieving the goal what is maximize to utilize resources and reduced pollution. This process is providing a new idea to deal with materials, which have a lot of arsenic and antimony.
