With the economic develop, the non-metallic mineral fluorite become more important thanbefore. The main rocky mineral of accompanying fluorite contains quartzã€calcite〠barite and soon. Separation of fluorite and calcite has been the emphasis and difficulty. Because thecharacteristics of fluorite and calcite’s flotation are similar.The select of fatty acid collector is notgood which offen affects by temperature.Therefore, not only collectors are important, but alsoinhibitors become more and more important.Studied the effects of KC1ã€KC2ã€KC3ã€KC5and KC6on fluorite and calcite and quartz, thetest showed that KC2is the best collector of fluorite. In K silC2system, studied inhibitingperformance of modified sodium silicateã€sodium hexametaphosphate and sodiumicate on fluoriteand calcite and quartz. When pH=6and the dosage of collector KC2is50mg/L and the dosageof modified sodium silicate is200mg/L, fluorite’s recovery rate can reached82.5%, calcite’srecovery rate is3.5%, fluorite and calcite and quartz has been effectively separated.In KC2system, studied the metal cation Al3+ã€Fe3+and Zn2+effects on flotation of quartz and fluorite andcalcite,the test showed thatAl3+ã€Fe3+and Zn2+are not obviously affects on fluorite activation, buthas inhibition to the calcite and has obvious activation to the quartz, which learned that metalcations Al3+ã€Fe3+and Zn2+are harmful ions the floataion should be avoided. Mixed ore testshowed that: under the condition of the pH=6and dosage of KC2is50mg/L and the dosage ofmodified sodium silicate is200mg/L when the flotation separation of mixture of fluorite andcalcite ore, calcite’s account more than60%can be separated, by any mixing ratio the mixture oreof fluorite and quartz can be easily separated, the mixture ore of fluorite and calcite and quartz,the mixture ore is difficult to separate when proportion of calcite account large, while theproportion of quartz account large, the mixture ore is easy to separate.The tailings of plumbean and zinc from fujian which main gangue mineral is quartz andcalcite.
