With the improvement of economy development and standard of living, peoplebecome increasingly demand golden decoration and art ware, so the study anddevelopment of simulated gold material of low price and superior performance whichcan satisfy the demand of golden decoration and art ware. It’s significant that can alsorelieve the conflict to supply and demand of ornamental gold material. This paper synthesize the recently development, basing on the brass alloys, adding Al,Si,Sn,In separately and multiple, studying the effects of the addition tothe alloys’ color value, color stability, resistance to oxidation, mechanical property. The effects to the distribution and structure property are also study.1. Brass alloys’ color value change alter largely with the content of Zn.Separately adding Al,Si,Sn,In to the base alloys will affect the chromatic value ofalloys, To fit the formula of the color value changing with the content of the elements.2. While separately adding, Al,Si,Sn and In were entirely dissolved in the brassbase which no new phase was found. After multiple adding, the alloys become singlesosoloid. Different elements were entirely dissolved in the brass base which no newphase was found, either. Cast structure of sosoloid component weren’t well mixed.Dendrite crystal inter segregate seriously. Alloys structure present developed dendriticstructure.3.After studied the effect of the separately addition of aluminum, silicon, tin, indium elements to the color stability of alloys, we find that the addition of tin canenhance the color stability of alloys efficaciously, at the same time, the addition ofsilicon also improve the color stability of alloys in a certain extent.4.After studied the effect of the separately addition of aluminum, silicon, tin, indium elements to the resistance to oxidation of alloys, we find that the addition ofaluminum can enhance the resistance to oxidation of alloys efficaciously, at the sametime, the addition of indium also improve the color stability of alloys in a certainextent. We used DSC to compare the ability of the resistance to oxidation among theelements added multiple, then We optimized the component of alloys which has thebest ability of the resistance to oxidation at the multiple addition.
