Pipeline transportation of oil and gas transport modes, self-shielded flux cored wire welding as an important pipeline construction plays an important role. For further enhance the level of automation of the welding process in the pipeline automation welding with self-shielded, the paper developed a kind of automation welding seam tracking system for all position welding with self-shielded. According to the research of the theory of arc sensor, combined with the characteristic of self-shielded flux cored wire droplet transition and variability of welding parameters, design the entirety solution of welding seam tracking system. Use the difference between the current signal areas integral to judge width determine; use the difference between adjacent cycle global integration of the voltage signal to judge height determine. Because the seam tracking system with strong real-time and have large amount of data to processing, so choose DSP to article data process operation and control strategy, the final control output by PLC,and the data transmission communication between this by RS-232.High performance digital signal processor chip component of the entire control system signal process and control strategies, design the hardware system for seam track system by TMS320F2812,include the minimum system of the entire DSP system and the peripheral circuit design, and completion it by the C programmer language. PLC control the step motor to complete the weld torch correction, the correction amount from the control output from DSP system. Use the software Lab VIEW of NI to communication with for completes the welding process of real-time display and analysis. Welding process has strong non-linear and time-varying, so signal process is joint filtering method using median filter, mean filter and wavelet filter, filtering the input signal. Control method using fuzzy neural network control, genetic algorithm optimization, to complete the determination of the control pentameters. Finally, use the simulink of MATLAB to simulation the filter algorithm and control algorithms and to verify its performance and accuracy.
