Nowadays the whole world is a shortage of resources, and humans use non-renewable resources to generate electricity on a large scale. So not only the energy reserves are fewer and fewer, but also the pollution caused by using non-renewable is more and more large. In order to use renewable resources effectively and induce output of traditional power plant, the technology of micro-grid is proposed. It is an important issue of smart power grids that how to control micro-grids distributed in different areas and guarantee power distribution network work safely if a lot of micro-grids be connected to power distribution network. The technology of multi-agent (MAS) is proposed to solve problem of micro-grid’s control in this paper. The paper mainly includes a few aspects:lAs the number of micro-grids is so large and micro-grids distribute widely, the distributed control mode is development direction of micro-gird control. MAS can track and control different bodies in different areas in real time via IP network. So MAS mode is used to control micro-grid in this paper;2According to the definition of micro-gird in America, the micro-grid access platform, which includes distributed energy generator (DER), loads and others, based on AC bus is constructed in MATLAB\Simulink. This platform it has two work modes:connected mode and island mode;3This paper analysis the action mechanism of MAS of state transformation of micro-grid, constructs an agent model with three layers, the main agent, the load agent and the DER agent, by using a software with open nature and friendly graphical user interface named ZEUS, and configured the agent function and the corresponding communication mechanism.4The TCP/IP intermediate server is written by Java language, which realizes the communication between MAS and micro grid platform;5Simulated the model change of micro-grid under the controlling of MAS. The simulation result show that, in the process of two transitions, MAS can exchange information from micro-gird platform in real-time. And under the control of MAS micro-grid can quickly switch in two modes, the switch time is less than0.02s.The simulation diagram of voltage, current, power and total harmonic distortion under the two kinds of model switching has shown that all the parameters meet the national standards requirements, which verify the effectiveness of micro-grid control under MAS.
