The traditional vehicle systems are unable to meet people’s needs because of the accidents they bring, wasting of human resources, and in many special occasions, they cann’t be used. Ground Unmanned Mobile Platform can overcome these shortcomings, they has been development rapidly in recent years.The overall design of unmanned ground mobile platform is more complicated than ordinary vehicles, it must not only be driver driven, but also enables the remote operation. The unmanned platform is more complicated, not only because of the structure but also the bearer and function. So the designer must be more comprehensive. The main work about the overall design of the Ground Unmanned Mobile Platform is:Firstly, General parameters’ definition, including the size parameters, quality parameters and the main performance, is one of the main works in general design phase. The vehicle structure and the main assembly configuration parameters also need to be determined in the overall arrangement. Secondly, Lots of advanced technologies is used by the Ground unmanned mobile platform. The paper introduces AMT, CAN bus system and environmental perception technology. Thirdly:Establishing vehicle model by CRUISE and analysis its dynamic and economic performance. Using CRUISE GSP module to generate AMT shifting pattern and optimize the vehicle’s performance.Finally, through the work of design and analysis, the Unmanned Platform can meet the performance requirements.. The design in this article only provide some reference for its design and development.
