| Suspension system, as an indispensable and important component of automobile, is mainly responsible for load and damping. It determines the vehicle’s handling stability and riding comfort, and ensures driving safety. The research and development on suspension detection technology and related equipment play an important role in the development of automobile industry technology. For vehicle inspection station or repair shop, they only need to get the basic parameters of vehicle suspension to know suspension status. However, current suspension detection devices have high price and complexity features, or have bad consistency of quasi-impulse excitation leading poor detection data quality, thus limit the suspension parameter testing. Therefore, in order to quickly and efficiently evaluate the anti-vibration performance of vehicle suspension, it is urgently needed to study and analyze the anti-vibration performance of vehicle suspension, and then to develop a vehicle suspension detection system for anti-vibration parameter with low price and reliable results.Based on the theory of quasi-impulse excitation, this paper adopts artificial pressing method to impose incentives for the car body and uses VC++6.0software development platform to design a single-wheel flatbed detection system for suspension parameter. This system can perform fast and reliable detection on the anti-vibration performance of vehicle suspension.In the first place, it carries on the overall design for automation suspension detection system for anti-vibration parameter based on the theory of quasi-impulse excitation, providing design scheme of hardware and software. Hardware part completes design of hardware circuit, including type selection of sensors, charge amplifiers, data acquisition cards, and realizes the construction of the hardware platform. Software part, firstly, uses MFC framework in VC++6.0and C++programming language to complete the design of the detection software, realizes the function of analog detection and real vehicle detection on the anti-vibration performance of vehicle suspension; Secondly, chaos parameters are applied to the algorithm of evaluating signal’s periodicity. The detection system realizes the function of distinguishing the vibration signal’s periodicity of suspension system, and uses VC++and MATLAB mixed programming technique to apply this function to the detection software.Through on-site commissioning and applications show that the single-wheel flatbed detection system for suspension parameter which is studied and designed by this subject is of stable operation, easy to use, of fast detect, of reliable results, of low price. It can be used not only for production and business purposes of automotive service and detection Enterprise, but also for the automotive specialty’s practice teaching of various institutions. |
