The deadly infectious diseases of Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome is serious harm to development of pig industry in recent years, and the pig mortality rate is very high after infection, especially the piglet mortality rate can amount to80%above, it is great harm to the pig industry. The pathological ultra microstructure of main tissues from pigs infected with Variant Strain of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome were observed, on the basis of clinical and autopsy pathological observation of pigs infected with Variant Strain of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome in the experiment. It provide theoretical basis for the clinical diagnosis and formulating scientific prevention and control measures of pigs infected with Variant Strain of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome. Test details are as follows:The first stage, the serum of suspected pigs infected with porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome were collected in some size range scale pig farms, free-range households and outpatient of areas surrounding the Taiyuan. After the historical change of lungs, liver, spleen, kidney, lymph nodes, heart, stomach, intestines and other organs of infected pigs were observed, all of the organs which was the junction of lesions and normal fresh tissues were collected, each organization in three copies, one copy were fixed according to the requirements of making the conventional microscopic specimen, and the other copy were fixed according to the requirements of making the TEM sample, besides, serum samples and the other organizations were preserved in-70℃. Then the PRRSV antibody and pathogenic were detected respectively by ELISA method and PCR method, and to rule out the possibility of other pathogen infection.The second stage the ultra microstructure of lung, spleen, liver, lymph node and other tissues from pigs infected with Shanxi Variant Strain of PRRSV were observed by Transmission elect ron microscopy (TEM). Results showed that the pulmonary macrophages, the hepatocytes and the lymphocytes of the lymph nodes and the spleen were infected to various degrees, where a large number of viral inclusion bodies were found. Lung tissue were mostly damaged; part of apoptosis of alveolar macrophages were observed. At the same time, Membrane structure of cells were damaged, of which mitochondria and the nucleus were changed mostly.The study did not only enriched mechanism database of PRRSV infection, but also shed light on Pathogenesis and endanger of the disease. Furthermore this strategy enabled us to gain a better understanding of Pathological diagnosis and control of disease.
