Study On Green Technology Ring Die Pellet Mill

Ring die pelleting technology is currently the mainstream technology in the field of granulating forming technology. At present, green development path of the ring die pellet mill is blocked by high energy consumption of pelleting and poor security of feed particles. The objectives which improve the safety of feed pellets and reduce the energy consumption in the process of granulating are studied. The main topics are as follows:(1) Two main influencing factors for green pellet mill have been analyzed, which are the safety of feed pellets and energy consumption in the process of granulating. Greening technical framework of pellet mill is proposed and green technologies such as no residue efficient cleaning technology, pelleting parameters optimization technology, granulating structural optimization technology are analyzed.(2) Rotating airflow green cleaning program is designed for conditioner where the materials remain serious. Rotating airflow clean model of conditioner is created and the feasibility of the scheme is verified by theoretical analysis and numerical simulation.(3) Based on the cleaning model, the influence of wind direction, inlet angle, inlet wind speed and inlet area on the cleaning effect of conditioner is studied. Based on results of the analysis, the model is optimized to improve and the results show that the improved cleaning solution is better(4) Energy consumption model of pellet mill is established. The influence of pelleting parameters on energy consumption is analyzed and design process of high-efficiency and energy-saving pellet mill is given.(5) The structure of feed taper hole is optimized, and the results show that the optimized model decreased extrusion pressure, reduced energy consumption and guaranteed pellet quality.The results of the research have great significance in improving security of feed particles, reducing the energy consumption of granulating, and promoting green of ring die pelletizer.
