Purpose:This research is for the purpose of observing the effect ofAcanthopanax extract to the apoptosis-related genes (Bcl-2, Bax) proteinexpression and the number of apoptotic in the light aging rats skin tissue,to detect Acanthopanax have function in delaying the light aging skin.Material and method:40kind of SD rats at random divides4groups,10for a group: the normal group (A), the model group (B), the Acanthopanaxgroup(C), the VE group (D). Except for the normal control group, the rats ofother groups all accepted the artificial UV radiation (UVA+UVB). Acanthopanaxextract was used on rats back in Acanthopanax group, Vitamin E cream was usedon rats back in positive control group. After15weeks, compare the results ofthe average gray value of the Bcl-2and Bax gene. And observe the number ofapoptosis.Results:1.Compared with the normal group, the Bcl-2gene expression was increasedin the other three groups of rats skin tissue(all P<0.01); Compared withthe model group, the Bcl-2gene expression was significantly diminished inthe Acanthopanax group and the VE group(all P<0.01).2.Compared with the normal group, the Bax gene expression was significantlydiminished in the other three groups of rats skin tissue(all P<0.01);Compared with the model group, the Bax gene expression was significantlyincreased in the Acanthopanax group and the VE group(all P<0.01).3.Observation of the number of apoptotic cells: Compared with normal group, thenumber of apoptotic cells increased significantly in the other three groupsof rats skin tissue(all P<0.01); Compared with the model group, the numberof apoptotic cells was significantly diminished in the Acanthopanax group andthe VE group(all P<0.01). Conclusion:1.The inhibitor of apoptosis gene Bcl-2upregulation and the apoptosis-promotinggene Bax downregulation in the skin tissue of the light aging rats.2.Acanthopanax extract can make the inhibitor of apoptosis gene Bcl-2downregulation and the apoptosis-promoting gene Bax upregulation in the skintissue of the light aging rats.3.Observation of the number of apoptotic cells: Compared with normal group, thenumber of apoptotic cells increased significantly in the skin tissue of thelight aging rats, and the Acanthopanax extract can effective reduce the numberof apoptotic cells.
