Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of knife-needle release plus Vampire Cupping in treating Humeral epicondylitis, so as to obtain the optimal therapy.Method:A total of60patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into A group and B group, per30each group. A group was treated with knife-needle release plus Vampire Cupping, while B group with only needle knife release. All patients were treated once one week of continuous treatment two times, the degree of pain、the function of elbow and the therapeutic effects for each patient were assessed and compared before and after treatment according to respectively. Meantime, the safety was monitored, and the therapeutic consistency was followed during58th to60th day after treatment. Finally, the results were compared and analysed.Results:1、After treatment, the elbow pain score of two groups wee decreased significantly compared with prior treatment, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01); A group fell more than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).2、After treatment, the elbow signs integral of two groups was decreased significantly, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01); And the A group decreased more than the B group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).3^In A group,21cases were clinically cured,6cases were markedly effective,3cases were effective, and the total efficiency was100%; in the B group,16cases were clinically cured,6cases were markedly effective,7cases were effective, and the total efficiency was96.7%; the effective rate of treatment group was superior than that of the contral group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).4^During The first58-60days of follow-up after treatment, there was no cases with total recurrence in A group, two cases with local recurrence, and the overall recurrence rate was9.5%; while in the B group, there was two cases with total recurrence, three cases of partial recurrence, and the overall recurrence rate was24.9%. The recurrence rate of treatment group was significantly lower than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01).5、Adverse reactions and treatment-related abnormalities of the needle knife and vampire cupping therapy were not found in both groups of patients during clinical trials, in the late follow-up heal patients also did not appear abnormal changes of muscle and other adverse reactions after the needle knife therapy. Conclusion:The clinical efficacy of the needle knife realese plus cupping treatment in humeral epicondylitis was obvious, which can effectively eliminate or reduce the patient’s pain and improve the function of the elbow; meantime, the stability was high., And the recurrence rate was low. Compared with a simple needle knife realese, its security is also good, and it is worthy of clinical application.
