Study Of Muslim Immigration In French Society

In recent years,French muslim immigrants become one of the most importantissues faced by the French government.The immigrants swarm into France broughtplenty of labours to the development of industrial emonomy,But also caused a lot ofheavy social pressures and burdens.This paper starts from the analysis of Muslimimmigrants’history, makes the distinguishes of the different origions, and discribestheir status quo. Then it talks about the Muslims identity changes in the1980s.Thethird part of this paper mainly talk about the attitudes and endeavors of Frenchgovernment、Muslims’hopes, the attitudes of non-Muslims in French and theirrelationship with Muslims. These mentioned above reflect that the integration ofMuslims immigrants into French society is not as difficult as we think. Actually, they’ve been accepted in many aspects of French society. At last, I try to provide a solutionparadigm——“Republican-Style integration”. This paradigm requires equal dialogueand cultural exchanges between French government and Muslim immigrant group.The most important thing is to build a bridge for them to understand andcommunicate with each other.
