On The Russian Symbolist Poetry

Silver Age is known as the Russian Renaissance, in this glorious period,there are three schools of Russian Modernist literature-Symbolism、Acmeism andFuturism. Symbolism is the earliest of these school, its achievement was very big, so itwas the second prosperity and revival of Russian poetry critic after Pushkin. Forvarious historical reasons, in the past people did not know the importance of modernRussian literature, even Symbolism was thought Decadent school. Russian modernistliterature had never received the attention it deserves in the1990s. To the early1990safter the collapse of the Soviet Union, the poetry of Russian Symbolism attractedpeople’s attention, Symbolism had have a lot of achievements from the creativemethod, language features to the level of philosophical views. But the Poetryconnotation of color, music, hidden obscure, hazy are often ignored in the Researchfields at home and abroad, especially the study of the Russian Symbolist poetrycharacteristics is still in the blank. So on the basis of the results of relevant researchdata at home and abroad, the author intended to Russian Symbolist Poetry as a startingpoint, uses a combination of methods of text analysis and comparative studies,elaborated the entire development process of Russian Symbolism, analyzed the poetrytheme of "older generation" Konstantin Balmont and "younger generation" Blok,deeply analyzed the music, color, mystical and religious characteristics of RussianSymbolism. Also compared thought of the Russian Symbolist poetry and laotze, fromthe Symbolist poetry found traces of traditional Chinese culture. We can know thatRussian Symbolist poetry was impacted by French Symbolism, forming a distinctivefeatures Poetics characteristics, and its aesthetic views have in common withChinese Taoism.
