Color words, as a particular groups in the words not only used to represent the color of objects, also has a rich cultural meaning behind it. Through the comparative analysis of cultural connotation of English and Chinese basic color words, not only can we understand them from the concept, and for a better understanding of the Western culture, has the significance of practical applications.
