Extending Space

Francis·Bacon (Francis Bacon，l909-1992) was Britain’s most uniqueartist of the last century,it has a great deal of new personalcharacteristics for his paintings about spatial expression as well as theapplication of abstract expressionism. The current research on Baconpaintings, most of them from the image of the painting, confined space,violence, formation of painting style as well as explore the angle ofExistentialism. Throughout the Francis· Bacon’s study that at home andabroad, the analysis of Bacon’s paintings is mainly from the sense andthe continuation of space in the article, with tactile space as thestarting point of the discussion to resolve the Bacon painting space andexplore Bacon painting of the real context. Discussed in text is dividedinto three parts: the first major to comb the concept of the tactile space;the secong part， Bacon painting space divided into three distinct phases,respectively, for discussion and resolution of space change anddevelopment process; the third part is the concluding part of the article,focuses on Bacon’s painting of the meaning and practical value.
