Research On Chinese Film Industry Investment And Financing Problems

China’s film industry is in rapid development period and the film production, screen number and ticket sales increased rapidly. However, the film industry scale is still small which accounts for a low proportion in the national economy and is still at the primary stage of industrialization. As a capital-intensive industry, how to realize the effective combination of industry and capital, obtain scientific and active investment and financing system to support, overcome the constraints of funds in the development of the film industry is the key to maintain rapid growth. China’s film industry not only developed the vertical industry chain but also expanded the related fields. Innovative financing and financing tools developed to standardization, specialization which played an important role in promoting in the whole industry. At the same time, the film industry investment and financing also exposed some problems which due to pay attention and research.This paper first describes the concepts and theoretical analysis of the film industry. Secondly, based on the current situation of the development of China’s film industry and the industry’s investment and financing condition, the author applied the theory of investment and industry economics knowledge and deeply analyzed the investment and financing problems of the film industry during each link of the industrial chain. Finally, in reference to the United States, Japan, South Korea and other developed countries film industry’s experience, this paper put forward improving suggestions from the government, film companies, capital providers, industry association four aspects.
