On The Waltz And Vocal Coloratura Perfect Match

Adaptability and evolution have become the themes of music cultural development with its rapid development in the increasingly diverse era. Diversified development of artistic elements is an important element of the development of music culture. The vocal music, the instrumental music, the western music and Chinese folk music are completely independent musical elements, but they can be combined with each other to form a new musical expression. For example, the "Jasmine" which Songzuying duets with Celine Dion in2013CCTV Spring Festival Gala, is a successful example of the combination between Chinese national singing and Western popular singing. The coloratura is blended into this song and the electronic music is blended into the obbligato. A brand new performance of the Chinese traditional folk song refreshes the audience.The waltz which is mainly originated from the north of Austria is one of the most important musical forms. The coloratura is a vocal singing that is familiar to us. This paper mainly analyzes "Voices of Spring Waltz" which is a good example shows the amalgamation of the waltz and the coloratura. And then I analyze the artistic effects of the amalgamation of the waltz and the coloratura considering their different histories, characteristics and representative pieces. Besides I will summarize the enlightenment of the amalgamation of the waltz and the coloratura combined with my own performance experience.Rather, the paper introduces the characteristics of the vocals that amalgamate the waltz and the coloratura via unscrambling different versions of the "Voices of Spring Waltz" that are four coloratura singers’ re-creations. The paper also shows some good examples that integrate the element of waltz(such as triple time) into the coloratura, such as the China’s modern creative folk "Spring Ballet" and "Mayila Variations", the western opera arias "Laughing Song"(Selected from the operetta "Bat").
