With the speeding up of Chinese urbanization process, the competition of image and culture between cities become increasingly fierce.As a kind of new media art form under the micro era, the micro film with the theme of cities write the new look of the city and people’s living conditions for us, and the specific image of the city is also in the show and deepening. The paper is based on the space image in the micro film of city as the research object, adopting the method of combining quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis, using consumption semiotics as the main theoretical perspectives. The paper analyses the type and form of the consumer space image, and how they build in micro film and convey the consumption culture, and puts forward the urban problem that micro film reflected. In addition, this paper also draw lessons from many theories such as the consumption of sociology, urban space and urban culture, hoping to provide some opinions and suggestions about the creation and dissemination of urban micro film in the future.Micro films of city not only reproduce the natural and cultural landscape, but also have a lot of urban consumption space image. The protagonist’s love affairs and sensitized plot unfold in the space orderly. Through micro film’s unique lighting and other visual effects and the narrative strategies of consumption symbol, the film not only internalize these spaces into a unique image of the city, but also construct a kind of consumption culture in the whole society of city at the same time. Leisure culture, fashion culture or carnival culture is characterized by a normal daily life, concern for the public "individualized" and "masquerade". The language of micro film is no longer the "natural voice", but brings a kind of production mechanism of convergence, which caused the similarity of urban micro movie’s plot and the city image that described. The city it shaped covered with a layer of fog "consumption", and the people in city can only see eye to eye in this illusion. The city has become a huge consumption space.
