Maslow Humanistic Psychology

In the1950s, Maslow fouded humanistic psychology which got attention from china in1980s. His theory have great influence,not only in psychology, but also in other correlation fields.In this paper, using Motivation and Personality, I analysed Maslow’s humanistic psychology. First, I’ll briefly introduced the forming background of Maslow’s humanistic psychology. Then, I’ll mainly discussed the basic thought of Maslow’s humanistic psychology, and examination of concepts aimed at theory of Need Hierarchy(need and motivation), theory of Human Nature(instinct and instintoid) and Axiology(self-actualization). A brief evaluation and summary is in the end.Studying Maslow’s humanistic psychology can not only provide beneficial guidance to the development of related discipline, but also influence our understanding of our own.
