Cassirer Formal Aesthetics

This article, from the formal aesthetics perspective, systematically analyzed andarranged the origin and content of Cassirer’s formal aesthetics, and further demonstratedsome culture forms that reflected the substance of forms, and analyzed the influence.The article believes that the production of Cassirer’s formal aesthetics has its profoundtheoretical origin. Firstly, Cassirer inherited and developed the Kant’s transcendentalphilosophy. Secondly, Cassirer’formal aesthetics was influenced by Goethe’sconfiguration theory.
