The Beijing Treaty on Audiovisual Performances was adopted in Beijing, June26,2012. It is the first international treaty on audiovisual performances, which indeedfills the blank of the international system of intellectual property. This treaty willprovide the performers with wider and clearer protection. This article would set basison the treaty itself and use multiple methods, such as historical approach, comparativeresearch and empirical approach, to analyze the treaty and clear its relations to othertreaty.
