Rational Use Of Bounds Computer Software Reverse Engineering

Nowadays, the world has entered into an information age. The information industry which develop in open and explosive type has greatly affected people’s life, and the basis of the information age is the universally of computer technology in each area. Computer software is a core part of the computer technology, and researching on related problems of computer software has become an important part in the field of intellectual property in the world.In this paper,I made a research on the concept and rationality of reverse engineering of computer software by analyzing the treaty and laws in different views on the rational use of computer software reverse engineering in legislative and academic circles. We should allow the legal ones to carry out the reverse engineering of computer software conditionally on the basic of promoting sustainable development of computer software and considering relevant person’s right. I hope that computer software reverse engineering can be defined more reasonably by setting correct limit under the protection of copy right and patent.
