Egyptian American Factors In The Democratization Process

Currently, democratization has become the development trend of thecontemporary world politics. As the main content of political modernization,democratization has become a reality and the only way for todays politics. Especiallyin Egypt, which is faced with national political democratic construction and economicdevelopment of the developing countries domestic trouble and foreign invasion? Asone of the biggest countries of Africa, Egypts every action is concerned. Following theTunisia revolution, Egypt in2011January broke mass demonstrations, and lasted for18days, and then proclaimed a regime change. It is not difficult to find that theUnited States play an important role in Egypt democratization process. Nowglobalization makes the world a mutual connection and influences each other. Studyof the United States to Egyptian democratization process becomes the focus of thispaper.The paper includes five chapters. The introduction discusses the background,the purpose and meanings of the topics, and then introduces research situation athome and abroad and framework of the paper. The paper analyzes the characteristicsof different periods of democratization in Egypt in historical order, and tries to showa complete process of democratization in the first chapter. The paper then discussesthe motives of the United States to participate in the process of democratization inEgypt, the measures and the ultimate impact on Egypt from period of the formerMubarak, Mubarak era, and Mursi period respectively. Finally, the paper andanalyzes and forecasts the development trend of the future of Egypt and the UnitedStates from the angle of internal and external factors.This paper argues that the United States use every opportunity and a variety ofways to influence Egypt democratization process. The purpose is its global hegemony.While the world power structure changes, the United States forces is different frombefore. Egypts democratic development will by its own internal factors, the influence of United States is one of the external factor. Egypt will not always under the UnitedStates’s control, the future of Egypt and the United States is equal.
