Research On Professional Ethics Of The Airport Staff

Airport is the joint point of Civil Aviation and the whole society. It is a region of public infrastructure, and a driving force to drive the local economic development as well. Airport service level and the whole organization’s influence on the urban and regional economic development is increasingly significant. With the development of airport economy, the business district cored with the airport has become important economic and cultural center. At the same time of the rapid development of the airport, the issues of the management level, application of science and technology and the talent pool have become prominent. The popular trend of civil aviation services makes more and more tourists’ travel and airport service groups diversity, and also constantly enrich and improve the passenger demands and needs. Airport service personnel, as directly face to passengers and directly provide service personnel, both bear the pressure of the economic benefits and production, and the pressure of service quality and social impact. How to improve the airport service personnel quality skills has become urgent to solve the problem at the airport. Professional ethics construction makes employees and enterprises establish common goals and common interests from the subjective consciousness and behavior style, hence fundamentally solves the problem of personnel quality and ideological quality.In this paper, the introduction part mainly introduces that the nation and the public put forward higher requirements to civil aviation security, service and operation. In order to meet the demands of talent and personnel quality because of the airport rapid development, this paper proposes professional ethics construction. The airport service staffs moral construction can provide referential experience and practical guidance for service industry and social enterprises. Through the research on professional moral construction and ethics both at home and abroad, we find professional moral construction at present lacks of systematization, persistence and operation, and even separates theory and practice research; and we also find much researches on professional ethics social significance; lack of personnel of psychological research. Therefore, this paper puts forward occupational moral construction from various angles and multiple dimensions via using the way of combination theory with practice, In the process of writing, the paper uses the research methods of literature study and empirical approach.The text of this paper analyzes the professional ethics characteristics of the non-mandatory, historic and class nature from the conceptual meaning of professional ethics. Combined with the characteristics of invisibility airport services and difficult to monitor and measure, it clarifies importance and necessity of airport service staffs professional ethics construction. Through exploring the history of the airport, the paper analyzes the airport service staff since the founding of the new nation until now; the historical track of the fonnation of the professional ethics at the airport. And thereby, it extends the present situation of the airport service staff’s professional ethics. In order to make the profound and concrete description of the airport service staff’s lack of professional ethics, the writer cites some examples of hongqiao airport.Tianhe airport,Long Water airport mass.incidents caused by the airport flight delays. Through the contradiction between passenger demands and vacancy of service staff service, it points out that the main problems of the professional ethics at the airport now. Then applying the principles of Marxism philosophy and ethics theory, the writer analyzes the root cause of the lack of professional ethics, that is:social environment, the defects of the management system of enterprise itself, staff’s own quality and immature mind. Combined with the cause analysis, this paper puts forward the professional ethics system construction. The author constructs the professional ethics theoretical system from the socialist core values, socialism faith and employee psychological level; and constructs the professional ethics practical system from the aspects of ethical standards. Airport service staff’s professional moral standard is established from the aspects of behavioral norms, attitude, social responsibility, rite situation and work efficiency. On the professional ethics system construction, the author thinks that it should be divided into three layers:idea, system and operation. Idea layer mainly elaborates the professional ethics construction target, guiding ideology and principle. System layer mainly supports related people in the system of management, supervision, evaluation and examination. The operational layer is the way and method of professional ethics construction. The author thinks that the professional ethics construction is divided into three levels. According to the staffs psychological maturity and work maturity, the author analyzes the professional ethics construction level, and carries out the different construction scheme. In the process of professional ethics construction survey, the writer recommends the survey method and system method. Survey method mainly discusses the present situation of occupational ethics, existence question and reason analysis. The systems approach is the applying principle of the occupational ethics. Proceeded from value orientation, code of conduct, skill requirement and career intention of the staff, and surrounded with the enterprise culture, working atmosphere and leadership behavior, survey method establishes and perfects the relevant personnel access system, staff recruitment and evaluation system, personnel training education system, and staff working instruction, etc. Following the rules of psychological growth, we should construct the professional ethics comprehensively and systematically.The last part of the paper puts forward the countermeasure of the construction professional ethics, and clears the basic principles:that is, combining with times characteristics, market economy demand, legal system and social responsibility. And it puts forward the main content construction of professional ethics should cover. Finally it is concluded that:the professional ethics construction is the important measures to practice socialist core values, and promote economic development and social civilization construction. Also, it is the important means to promote enterprise development and the image of the enterprise. Professional ethics construction plays an important role in social harmony and stability, enterprise competitiveness and happiness of employee. Professional ethics construction should have systematicness, long lasting and timeliness, strengthen the training education from the aspect of employee ideas, enhance the constraints from the aspects of system construction, and intensify guidance from the incentive mechanism. Professional ethics construction is a long-term process. It is constant and continual ascension with the change of the people’s demand and the improvement of quality. Through the analysis and research of the professional ethics construction problem at the airport, this article puts forward the establishment of professional ethics system, and points out ways and means, and the main content of the professional ethics construction. Although the research in this paper cannot solve the all moral construction problems of the airport service staff, it provides direction and path for the professional ethics construction.
