The Exploration On Mao Zedong’s Thought Of Political Democracy

Mao Zedong was the pioneer and explorer of China’s socialist democratic political construction. According to the basic principles of Marxism-Leninism, combined with the practice of China’s democratic political construction, Mao Zedong formed his democratic political thought and developed the theory of democracy and political doctrine of Marxism. Mao Zedong democratic political thought laid the ideological and theoretical foundation of contemporary democratic political construction and still plays an important guiding role in actively and steadily pushing forward the reform of the political system in China, developing socialist democratic politics and building socialist political civilization. In this paper, the author fully recognizes the value of Mao Zedong democratic political thought in modern times, gives a comprehensive account of its historical development based on a deep understanding of its basic connotation, tries to grasp better the spiritual essence of Mao Zedong democratic political thought in comparison with other democratic political thoughts and expounds in depth its value and development in Contemporary China, striving to provide constructive theoretical basis and practical guidance for China’s political civilization construction and development of democratic politics.
