Diplomatic negotiations for sovereign states to maintain national interests and the importance of the development of international relations is self-evident, for the research focus.In this study the Sino-British talks in Hong Kong as a case, through a large number of rich literature, literature method, the text analysis of qualitative research methods, the classic example of nearly20years of diplomatic negotiations to comb, inductive, to complete this process at the same time, explore its practical significance.This study using the experience of communication in the common range theory, interpersonal communication, organizational communication and mass communication of public opinion guiding role, in the communication of the Sino-British talks in Hong Kong in the framework of domesticating translation and sorted out the whole process of analysis, break diplomatic negotiations in the field of research ideas, such as the comprehensive national strength, military strength compared to these new concepts, explore diplomatic negotiations around the factors affecting the success or failure of the negotiations of a series of relations.This paper mainly divided into three parts:The first part:the first chapter introduces the research background, problem, research methods and theoretical basis, and to search the related literature to sort. In chapter ii of the Sino-British talks in Hong Kong for nearly20years of talks, reviews four important stages of negotiation, especially the first stage, the induction, listed in important and key issues.The second part:the third chapter, through literature method and the text analysis of the research methods of literature analysis. Studies have shown that diplomatic negotiations itself as a kind of information dissemination activities, in the field of communication research almost include the various types of transmission, interpersonal communication, organizational communication, mass communication and transmission of common experience range theory. From the point of further analysis of diplomatic negotiations negotiator, negotiation organization coordinated role and organization of informal communication channels and opinion leaders, mass communication of public opinion guiding role. Study the effects of these factors for the success or failure of the diplomatic negotiations and role.In the third part:the fourth chapter, the paper expounds the communication analysis enlightenment brought by the Hong Kong talks, review in different periods, the performance of the diplomatic negotiations is different, affirmed by the Sino-British talks diplomatic negotiations that embodies the spread of the type of diversification, at the same time, points out that the use of communication in the modern international inside and outside environment in diplomatic negotiations should strengthen the aspects:the ability of negotiators, organization coordination, the establishment of informal channels and develop, mass communication with strong right public opinion direction.
