Study On Hu Jintao Youth Thought

The youth represents and creates the future. Only by winning over the youth,can a country win the future. The Communist Party of China has always attached great importance to the youth, cared for the youth, and trusted the youth, and had ardent expectations for the young generation. The youth are the future of the motherland and the hope of the nation, and also the constructors and successors of the socialist cause with Chinese characteristics.Therefore, whether or not the youth can grow healthily is directly related to the success or failure of socialist modernization, and the country’s future and destiny of the nation. Hu Jintao has always focused on the youth, cared for the youth and guided the youth, thus forming a youth ideology, namely Hu Jintao youth thought. It is a product of integration of the Marxist youth thought with contemporary Chinese youth and youth practice. It is the inheritance and development of the Marxist youth thought and the Marxist youth thought with Chinese characteristics. A study on Hu Jintao youth thought has extremely important theoretical and practical values for the guidance of youth growth and the smooth functioning of youth work in the new era.This paper conducts the research in three parts:the formation and development of Hu Jintao youth thought, the main contents and basic characteristics of Hu Jintao youth thought; and the values of Hu Jintao youth thought.The first part:the formation and development of Hu Jintao youth thought. By systematically elaborating Hu Jintao’s thought on the position and function of the youth, the characteristics of the youth, the youth education, the youth development, the youth work and the cultivation of young talents, the paper attempts to put forward the scientific system of Hu Jintao youth thought. The main characteristics of Hu Jintao youth thought are also analyzed in this part, that is, epochal, national, practical and open.The third part:the contemporary value of Hu Jintao youth thought. In this paper, the contemporary value of Hu Jintao youth thought is discussed both theoretically and practically.In theory, it is the inheritance and development of Marxist youth thought and the theoretical guidance for the youth work in the new period.In practice, Hu Jintao youth thought acts as a compass for youth growth and an active facilitator for the healthy development of youth work.
