In recent years, the problem to the government responseis being the central point in public administration increasingly. A series of unexpectedevents has been resulted from under-developed government response system. Government response is the mark of progress in Socialism Democracy and is thetransform to better management. Additionally, it is also one of the value orientations forevery countries’ administration reform in the present time.With various need, government should give response efficiently which asks muchhigher request for government. From the whole condition, it is not special forgovernment to have slow and under efficient phenomenons during the present time. Theability is limited for government to offer response. Government response with lowerlevel makes more contradictions in the society, such as a series of group events,emergencies.In this situation, many problems arose which include the bad image andworse trust in public heart and increasing visits.These things have a bad effect onsociety’s stability and sustainable development.Nowadays, the environment of society isbeing changed deeply and continuously,people’s awareness began to be more curiousabout the involvement,these phenomenons require government to promote its ability onpublic response.Although government has established response system and opened upchannels,our government still in a lower status for the reasoof existing weaknesses insubject and object.We need more kinds of channels and ways to strengthen the responseability of local government. After that, some policies will be concluded by introducinggovernment response system from foreign countries.This paper has studied the related concept, history and system of China’s localgovernment response mechanism.The deficiency and reason existing in constructionprocess are described in detail through several cases.Finally, put forward a fewsuggestions of local government response mechanism construction.
