The problem in social Old-age system has received wide attention in various countries. At the same time, the rapid growth in aging population and accelerating process of aging population of china is getting severer. With the development of economy and society, urban elderly embodies unique characteristics, such as old, senile, lonely. A huge number of older people deserve better treatment in economy, health, life care, and spiritual consolation. With the sluggish develop on pension resource supplying; the contradiction between demand and supply is increasingly prominent. As an important carrier of elderly caring, whether pension resource should be allocated rational is a criterion of Old-age system. Therefore, optimization on urban pension resources is a crucial problem to be solved in china.This paper start with defining the concept and meaning of Pension resources, analysis the demand conditions for pension resources of urban elderly, based on the research date of Xi’an elderly in the terms of economy, health, life care, and spiritual consolation. The survey implies that urban elderly create an expanding and increasing demand about the scale and quality of pension resources. On the resource pension supplying, the paper focus on the different supplier of pension resources, analyzing the pension resources supply condition by urban self, family, community and government. In contrast with the current huge demand for old-age resources in china, the old-age system exposed some problem like quantity lacking, low quality. Lacking of using and integration the old-age resources effectively provided by different suppliers is a great reason for making elderly status at a relatively low level. The paper will discuss how to use the old-age resources efficient, and achieve feasibility opinions on the optimal allocation of resources.
