| On March1,1996, family code of Russian federation took effect; on April1,1999revised the adoption law of the People’s Republic of China took effect. At the sameperiod, on the basis of the respective basic national conditions, the idea of theirlegislation and practical experience, the two countries established relatively completeadoptive systems. The thesis starts from the historical background, compares theadoptive systems between the two countries, studies the similarities and the differences,discusses the advantages and the defects existing in their adoptive systems. It willprovide theoretical basis for revising and perfecting the adoptive systems of the twocountries. |
