Tumet of Hohhot in Inner Mongolia is a place which have400years history of the fact that the Mongolian and the Han Chinese have been lived together. Starting with Altan Khan invade Tumet since16centry,it has been thousands of and thousands of Han Chinese inburst here. It brings the Han Chinese culture come to stay and take root and blossom with the Han Chinese immigrant and settle down gradually. The Mongolian culture and Han Chinese culture started to contact chronically and deeply, it has been through an"acculturation"process which included language、culture、custom and some culture items blend together. And it turns out that the two different culture have moved towards a new culture phenomenon which seems like cannot distinguish each cultural original attribute from its surface. For the people of two nationality, it is seems like the conscious of ethnic identity.is not so obvious,but when you dig it deeply,in fact,the people of two nationality who lived in Tumet of huhhot have a stronger "ethnic identity" which keep in their heart deeply,it’s a mentality conscious which reflects in every aspect of their daily life,including communication and dialogues of the public in the daily village life. In the same country boundary,these dialogues came out about life of people from the Mongolian and the Han Chinese often has been from inside and unconsciously and shows the emotion of real ethnic identity in their respective internal members or between ethnic groups. So these dialogues about ethnic culture of their daily life has been a best evidence for knowing villager’s ethnic identity of real condition.This paper chose Bashi village in Tumet of Hohhot as the investigation site that inhabited by the Mongolian and the Han Chinese. And it is use these dialogues in the daily Life of the Mongolian and the Han Chinese as the pointcut of this research. And that has gained various of first-hand data from field work which is detailed be full and accurate by interview deeply to constitute the "ethnic culture record "of this passage. This paper try to analysis the ethnic identity included in the villagers’deep heart,useing those dialogues. These dialoguess involving multiple level of villagers’ daily life,such as weddings and funerals, Festival convention,daily interaction,etc. These dialoguess contains important information that involves the ethnic identity of the Mongolian and Han Chinese two ethnic villagers. In addition to these contents of these dialogues, these dialogues themselves also expressed ethnic identity of the villagers when they made those dialogues. In this paper, the author is analyzing and understanding the ethnic identity of the villagers on the level of deep mentality through those expression that is obtained in those dialogues of villagers’ daily life,those expression is related to the ethinc differences. Moreover,this paper is contrasting and analysising the multifaceted dialogues of villagers in self-cognitive or cognitive to others point of view. To put forward the deep analysis of the ethnic identity is to support the theoretical hypothesis author proposed here——the cultural heritage of a nation does not only rely on their ethnic language. And the ethnic groups that lost their native languages still have deep ethnic identity due to the ethnics’ attitudes and intentions.
