Fraction is the most basic and core content in the elementary school mathematics. However students encounter fraction in real life very few times. According to the teachers’ years of teaching practice, this part of the contents is a major difficulty for primary school students. When learning fraction, it is always difficult to avoid errors for primary school students. Although there is the accumulation of experience from the front-line teachers, the research is still not sufficient to arouse the concern of the majority of teachers and researchers. So this part became a weak link in the Primary Mathematics Teaching.I combine years of teaching practice, aimed at "an initial understanding of the fraction","the meaning and nature of the fraction","fraction computing" and "usage of fraction" this four parts, based on "Experimental Textbook of People’s Education Press compulsory education curriculum standards·Mathematics", taking literature research, lesson study method to study to find the root of the problem, and came to the conclusion of the study. This article consists of the following four parts.Part Ⅰ:Introduction., Explains how the problems raised, the purpose and significance of the research. PartⅡ:the relevant content of the fraction and the cause of the error of the primary school students in the fractions of learning. Part Ⅲ:the teaching strategy of the primary school. Summed up the primary school the cognitive law and thinking characteristics of teaching strategies from the concept of fractions, computing, applications Part Ⅳ:Fraction teaching suggestions and further research directions. Fractional teaching strategies based on the study fraction teaching focus on training of primary school students from the emotional to the rational form of thinking, focusing on pupils’ computing ability, and some own idea of taking a variety of teaching strategies, as well as future research directions. The aim is to enable students to better grasp the fractional content at the same time avoid some common mistakes, to optimize the classroom to improve learning efficiency.
