A Study Of Post90S College Students’ Values In Shanxi Province

Study on the values of college students has been a youth and an important research field. With the economic reform of Socialist market, under the situation of the economic development, the ideological and cultural values have shown diversified characteristics and development tendency. Contemporary post-90s college students are emerging power, the future of the country, the main force in the future’s construction, and their concepts of values are directly related to the future of our country. Shanxi is a province with distinct local characteristics in the central area of China., for this reason, the post-90s college students have remarkable characteristics and values, the author takes Shanxi’s post-90s college students’values as the research point, and collected amount of direct and first-hand information. After analyzing research data, the author wants to find the related problems, ways and countermeasures for improving the post90s college students’values. The ultimate aim is to help the students to develop the rational values of life, to realize their social and individual values better, and make contribution to the society and the country.The author in this thesis using the following methods:First, the documentary research method, through domestic and foreign related research works, analyses of research results and experience of predecessors to find factors that affect the values of contemporary college students and adjust survey outlines according to the factors. Second, the questionnaire survey, through distributing questionnaires to the post-90s students in Shanxi Province and collect valid data from them. Through the analyses of the data to find the problems. Finally, interviews with college students born in Shanxi Province or not, through direct face-to-face meeting to understand contemporary students’views and problems toward values and find differences and causes between them.This thesis is divided into three parts. The first part, mainly to summarize the related concepts, research methods and representative views. The second part is the investigation and analysis of the current values of the post-90s college students in Shanxi Province. From the aspects of subjective and objective elements, drawing relevant conclusions, and exploring reasons for the values problems of post-90s college students in Shanxi province. The third part is the summary part, according to the second part’s conclusions and find out ways and tactics to help the post90s college students to formulate reasonable and scientific values toward life.At the end of the thesis, questionnaire and interview records are attached.
