After the6th Plenary Session of the16th CPC, the central authority puts forward the goal of constructing the socialist harmonious society at the first time and stresses on promoting the community construction. However, In the process of community construction, cultivation of high-level, high-quality community work talent team should be one of the key factors. Therefore, how to optimize the current community worker team structure, to promote community worker team specialized and professional construction, to improve their management level and the public service ability become an important problem of the governments at all levels in the community construction process. At the same time, due to the continuous growth of college graduates number, college students’ employment issues have become a widespread social concern which is one of the hot issues. In order to promote the employment of college graduates, alleviate the employment pressure, the Party and the government do not only extend jobs but also establish a series of preferential policies to encourage and guide the college graduates to employment. After the "university student village official" policy, hiring of college graduates to work in community will become a new measure to promote the college graduates employment. Today, college students’ community worker has gradually become a new force in Chinese specialized professional community worker team.In March2009, Beijing start "College students’ community worker plan", which plan to recruit5000college students’ community workers in2to3years. So far, the author started to communicate with the community workers and learn from them in the communities. Through the years on college students’ community worker field investigation and interview exchange, the author found that college students’ community worker profession has brought new opportunities at the same time also has brought serious test to them. Due to the college students’ own factors, management system, salary guarantee, account and identity orientation, the career was influenced and even limited the development. Most of college students who were engaged in social work soon change for another way out."College students’ community worker plan" actual implementation is not optimistic. Therefore, this article analyzes Beijing college students’ community worker status and the career development prospects deeply. According to the domestic and international community theory research and the successful experience, the article puts forward some opinions and suggestions to the current college students’ community worker’s policy, management status of college students and how to make a good career development. These opinions and suggestions can help the decision makers for "College students’ community worker plan" policy formulation and perfection, and provide the reference of the research to community worker team specialized professional construction. At the same time, the paper has certain reference significance to the college graduates know community work and select the "college students’ community worker" professional.
