A Statistic And Analysis On Shanxi Dragons&Champions In2011-2012’s CBA Playoff Games

2011-2012’s CBA (China Basketball Association) has been over, but some wonderful game scenes in the competitive process gave us a very deep impression. As the highest level game of all professional basketball games in our country, CBA’s improving techniques and fantastic competitions constantly bring us surprise. The audience are increasingly satisfied with the players playing techniques, fighting spirit, flexible use of tactics, as well as the different tactics styles of different teams. Accompany by the join-in of some famous foreign players in recent years, and their great team-work with our domestic players, the CBA improved its pleasing to eyes.CBA is composed of17teams. Its games are divided into the regular games and the playoff games. As a new league, Shanxi Dragons won many games in2011-2012’s CBA, and came into the semi-finals for the first time in history. However in the semi-finals’competition, it fought five times with Beijing Ducks and eventually regretted to lose. Therefore, this article deeply analyses the techniques and tactics that Shanxi Dragons used in the games to find its advantages and disadvantages. Ⅰ hope the research can help Shanxi Dragons gradually reduce the gap with the strong teams and get a better development in future. Though there was a certain gap between Shanxi Dragons and the strong teams during the past several competitions, Shanxi Dragons showed the spirit of "defying the strong", which was appreciated by the audience. There is still a big gap between Shanxi Dragons and CBA. In order to be a strong team in CBA Shanxi Dragons still has a long way to go. Shanxi Dragons needs to correct its attitude, find and narrow its gap with strong teams so as to rank among the strong teams in CBA. Therefore, this article analyses the average scores of Shanxi Dragons’nine playoff games in2011-2012’s CBA, the average scores of Beijing Ducks’ fourteen playoff games, and the average scores of Guangdong S.C. Tigers’eleven playoff games. Combined with literature, video observation, mathematical statistics and comparative analysis this article draws the conclusions as follows:(1) The advantages of Shanxi Dragons in2011-2012’s CBA display in:rebounds, defending and counterattacking, which makes Shanxi Dragons win to the playoffs.(2) The contribution rate of the techniques and tactics of foreign players is higher than that of domestic players in Shanxi Dragons. This is much better than those of Beijing Ducks and Guangdong S.C. Tigers.(3) The domestic players’competitive abilities in Shanxi Dragons are weaker than those in Beijing Ducks and Guangdong S.C. Tigers.(4) Shanxi Dragons’ scores in home matches are higher than those in away matches.
