As the strong implementation of quality education, put forward higher requirements for teachers, especially class teachers. Research shows that the class teachers with higher level of competence have high level of psychology literacy. In order to know more about the status of secondary school teachers’ psychology, providing reference suggestions for the school and administrative department of education, Based on organize and analyze of the literature and according to experts opinions, The author draw up the "Secondary School Teachers’ Psychology Literacy Status Questionnaire" for investigation and study, which is based on the collection and analysis of the literature and the experts’ advice. The Research conducted questionnaire surveys by convenient sampling method in a total of ten secondary schools in Chengde City, and gathered234valid questionnaires in all. Moreover, the author interviewed5class teachers and1principal according to self-compiling interview outline.The result shows that class teacher psychology literacy in secondary school is at a medium level overall. On specific demographic variables difference, male and female have not difference of their psychology literacy. Longer time class teachers have higher level of psychology literacy than short time class teachers. Class teachers in high schools have higher level of psychology literacy than Junior high school class teachers. The psychology literacy of class teachers in key middle schools is significantly higher than class teachers in ordinary schools. The class teachers which are non-normal class graduation have slightly higher level of psychology literacy than those are normal graduation. The class teachers whose teaching experience is less than5years have the highest level of psychology literacy. The second is the class teachers whose teaching experience is more than15years, the class teachers whose teaching experience is between6to15years has the lowest level of psychology literacy. The class teachers whose degree is master or above have the highest level of psychology literacy. The follow is undergraduate course, the class teachers who are college graduation have the lowest level of psychology literacy. Senior teachers have the highest level of psychology literacy. For this situation, the author put forward countermeasures and suggestions to enhance the psychology literacy of class teachers in three aspects:strengthen class teacher consciousness of learning psychology, improve the system of class teachers refresher training and establish and improve the selection and evaluation system for class teachers.
