Contemporary University Students Communication Plight And Rational Regression

Human communication is vital in university students’ life. It concernsindividual student’s future and the country’s construction project for futuretalents. University students in21century are living in a period of socialtransition. In this period their human relations are undergoing great changes asa result of fierce changes in social environment, thus a series of communicationproblems will rise and influence their study, work, and life. Some students evenget psychological problems. Based on the elaboration of the rationality theoryof communication, this thesis will analyze the characteristics and real problemsfaced by university students in the course of communication and proposecorresponding measures to help them get out of the communication plight and returnto the rational ways to communication. Through ideological and political education,we intend to help university students set up correct outlook toward the world,life and values, learn to communicate properly and form scientific outlook forcommunication, which is the important part of ideological and political educationin the new era.This thesis starts from reviewing the communication theories proposed bysome famous scholars home and abroad. Then it expounds briefly the background ofthe theories and defines some conceptions. It goes on to apply the theories tothe analysis of the object of this study and tries to analyze the universalphenomena arising from the contemporary university students. Also it combinesmaterials from education science, psychology, sociology and management to make comparison and contrasts with real cases to reflect the problem in an attempt tohelp university students set up scientific and rational outlook for communicationand guide them to communicate with others correctly.
