With the further deepening of the popularization of compulsory education in China,the implementation of the concept of educational equity, the implementation of the newcurriculum reform, the launching of the new rural development and ruralwork,development of basic education in rural areas become major issues which related tothe quality of the citizens and the people’s livelihood faced by all levels of government andeducational authorities. Increasingly strong calls attention to rural teachers to survival anddevelopment, to improve school conditions in rural areas, to improve the effectiveness ofteaching in rural areas, and continuing education of teachers in rural areas.Owing tohistorical and realistic reasons, wuling area of rural compulsory education foundation isweak, the qualified teachers are lack, education development level is low.So the difficultiesthat we should face in promoting basic education curriculum reform process, will be harderthan any other region arduous, the problem also correspondingly more and more sharp.Forlocal colleges and universities, in terms of the actual situation for local development,combined with the development of teacher training and teacher education the proposedfeasibility countermeasures and suggestions, but also one of the major initiatives of thelocal universities to serve the community.The subject Wufeng Tujia Autonomous County in rural junior high school teacherssurvive its development based on the actual investigation and rational analysis. Take "Onthe Survival and Development of the Rural Junior School Teachers in Wuling Area-takingWufeng Tujia Autonomous County for Instance" as the subject.
