With the number of college enrollment increased sharply in recent years, many college educational administration managements are faced with a new challenge. Under the new situation, some former educational administration management systems (hereafter EAMS) pose problems of inadequate design and low intelligentization, which can not meet the demand of educational administration management (hereafter EAM). Therefore, it is urgently required to reform the EAM. According to my study, the best approach to this problem is to develop a suitable EAMS with the help of genetic algorithm. This thesis analyses the problems of former-used EAMS from the aspect of System Theory. Then make a study of the design of EAMS based on genetic algorithm. And integrate all the functions (such as course and test scheduling, classroom borrowing, teaching workload counting, teaching equipment management and so on) into the teaching system, so as to reduce the input and output of data repetition among the different school management departments and improve the management efficiency. Based on the above mentioned, there is a more specific analysis and investigation on the functions of the Maoming Polytechnic EAMS’s each module. An ideal EAMS model is put forward after redesigning the function of former-used system intelligentizedly, supplementing teaching workload counting and classroom borrowing subsystem. The newly designed one based on genetic algorithm, which is interconnected each function of subsystem, breaks the existing partition between the former-used EAMS’s subsystem independence and solves the problem of cannot-shared data. Therefore, the new one can realize the integrated efficiency. This thesis mainly studies the application of genetic algorithm in the course scheduling and other functions. The modules of course and test scheduling which involves time schedule are thoroughly analyzed. Under the discussion of compulsory-restraint condition and optional-restraint condition in course and test scheduling, adaptive value function is defined. Through the detailed comparison between the former-used EAMS and the newly designed one with genetic algorithm, the application of genetic algorithm on EAMS is elaborated, which shows that genetic algorithm is workable solution to the problems of the former-used EAMS. As a result, it proves that the newly EAMS is superior to the old one.
