Secondary school student management is an important part of secondary education. With the further education reform in China and the enrollment expansion of the secondary vocational schools, secondary school student management is faced with new situations and challenges. The traditional concept, management methods and management system of student management have been difficult to meet the needs of situational development. In the new situation, the management of secondary school should not only establish a "Student-oriented" concept, but explore effective ways and means of management as well.Based on this concept and management, the present thesis will focus on its necessity, active significance and requirements. In order to improve the student management, we should study the current problems when carrying out this concept. In this thesis, by using the basic theory of pedagogy and combining the school work practice, I analyze the traditional pattern of student management and the characteristics of the students in the new period. Meanwhile I list the current existing problems of the management of the secondary vocational school, analyze causes of the problem, put forward countermeasures to improve student management.This thesis consists of five parts. The introduction will focus on the reason why we should establish a "Student-oriented" concept. I also organize and process the research at home and abroad. First of all, I put forward the new research method. In the first chapter, I study the origin and development of the "Student-oriented" concept and attempt to learn the essence of the concept. In the second chapter, I study the necessity and ignificance of the "Student-oriented" concept. This idea adapts to the new continent and domestic situation, especially in accordance with the characteristics of vocational students. In the third chapter, from the differnernt perspectives, such as the current management system, students’ psychological problems, the problems of the employment management, daily management and the dilemma of the management, ombined with the specific problems of my school,I pay attention to the detailed analysis of the management and manage to find out the reasons of these problems. In the fourth chapter, I put forward the corresponding countermeasures for the management of school management system, the psychological problems of students, the problems of daily management and employment management.
