The Research On Leading The University’s Ideological And Political Education By Core Socialist Values System

With the development of economic globalization, the communication among countries becomes more and more intensive. As the collision of various social ideologies intensified, cultural security is facing enormous challenges. The strategic task of constructing the core socialist value system is put forward in the Sixth Plenary Session of the CPC’s Sixteenth Central Committee, to "form the spirit of whole nation to strive to make progress and the spirit of unity", it is also mentioned in the report at18th Party Congress thaf "We should carry out thorough study of and education in the core socialist values and use them to guide social trends of thought and forge public consensus.""We should maintain leadership and initiative in theoretical work, provide correct guidance, enhance our ability to guide public opinion, and strengthen the influence of the underlying trend of thought in our country." The main channel of the ideological and political education is in colleges and universities, Strengthening core socialist values, is of great significance to lead the ideological and political education work, to train the contemporary young college students to be qualified builders and successors of the socialist cause.This paper is divided into eight parts. The first part is preface, which expounds the research background and significance, as well as the literature review and innovations. Some related concepts, such as value, value system and the core socialist values system and ideological and political education, the guidance to ideological and political education with the core socialist values system of and so on are analyzed in the second part. The third part analyzes the historical background of core socialist values system, and its scientific connotations. The fourth part analyzes the leading role of socialist core value system in ideological and political education from aspects of complicated and changeable international situation, adhering to the socialist direction of running a school and training qualified builders and successors for the socialist cause. The fifth part is the questionnaire investigation of the status quo and its analysis of the college students’ understanding of socialist core value system. Part six discusses the main body, object and ring body which influence the socialist core value system on the construction of the ideological and political education. The seventh part put forward concrete countermeasures to lead the ideological and political education of socialist core value system from three aspects, which are trying to form the socialist core value system to the main education body consciousness education behavior, the socialist core value system into the students’ psychological identity and self-conscious pursuit of the ideological and political education,improving education practice environment to improve the pertinence and effectiveness of ideological and political education.
