A Research On The Influence Of Conspicuous Consumption To Middle School Students And The Strategy Of Intervene In Education

As the globalization coming, modern society presents special "modernity", because of the influence of multivariate culture; the biggest feature is to chase high quality. Consumption is understood by different ways as improving life quality. When consumption is limited in reflecting symbol meaning, emphasize society stratum, conspicuous consumption will be coming, this consumption idea help form money best, emphasize dolce vita, waste money and unhealthy consumption idea,which is disadvantageous to middle students.This paper explores four characteristic on conspicuous consumption to middle school students at first. Firstly, middle school students will appear "face consumption" because of the china "face consumption" tradition. Secondly, middle school students is on puberty earlier stage, they are different from adult is the character of showing their different, so they will consumption for their different. Thirdly, they are very caring about themselves from their companion, they will get identify with others to "pay up" to others. Fourthly, at the commodity economic environment, middle school students will precede conspicuous consumption for "symbol" mean behind commodity.In the next place, author analyses the relation between conspicuous consumption and self-deification, the result show that they have observably correlation. On the basis, the author explores the influence on conspicuous consumption to self-deification from family, school and society, and aim at the negative aspect ascribe to the reason, at last, point out causing the result contain get rid of self-deification tradition, materialization relatively value overflow and the weakness meaning consult group.At last, on the basis of before, the author points out educational intervention of school to help students form healthy self-deification. One hand, family and school should cooperate. Parents should have right consumption view, develop healthy consumption habit. School need to cooperate with family; strengthen the good habit from family, deepen the right understanding on consumption through classes. On the other hand, society should build good society atmosphere, school strengthen healthy consumption view depend on making use of society resource. School should deliver healthy consumption view to students by making use of TV, ad, network and so on to help students get right self-deification under the healthy society atmosphere.
