People as a special social group, is one of the important factors in the process ofeconomic development. In the specific historical period, due to the lack of coordination ofeconomic and social development level and does not adapt, resulting in a population problem.At present, the people-oriented sustainable development view has been more and more widelyrecognized and become the guiding ideology of regional planning and regional economicdevelopment. In the planning of regional economic development and at the same time, thesituation and trend of the regional population must take into account. And the role ofpopulation in the regional economy is not only the research from the total population, morefrom the structure and quality of population in terms of research.Take the development of population and economy in Liaoning Province as the researchobject, the use of regional economics, population economics principle, the use of empiricalresearch methods, history and trend of a detailed analysis of the present situation and changesof Liaoning population quantity, population structure, population migration, through themethod of ratio, measurement, quantitative and qualitative analysis, from the total population(population structure, population age structure, sex structure of population, population spatialdistribution structure), birth, death, population migration, comprehensive research perspectiveanalysis of the changes of Liaoning province population impact on the economic developmentof Liaoning Province, to reveal the current population is large, uneven population distribution,population structure is not reasonable, was born sex ratio imbalance, aging trend to acceleratethe economic development of Liaoning province the main population problems.The main research contents of the thesis can be divided into four partsThe first part, expounds the research purpose and meaning, both at home and abroad andthe content of the thesis is theory research is closely related to the review, and puts forwardthe innovation and research ideas.The second part, from the aspects of the total population, population structure,population, the death population, population migration of Liaoning province population statusand characteristics. The characteristics of population include: large population, fast growth,the population distribution is not balanced, the population development of population,concentrated in the city. The characteristics and problems of population structure is mainlymanifested in: the population age structure presented inverted Pyramid shape, a falling birthrate, aging speed, working age gradually aging, not the old rich first. Sex structure of population distribution between cities is not balanced. The spatial structure of populationdistribution is not balanced, the area density difference. Characteristics of populationmigration is, number of interregional migration, migration of different degree of culture.The third part, the economic development in Liaoning province are described, and theadvantages and disadvantages of its regional economic development were analyzed, throughthe analysis of the economic gap between regions in Liaoning Province, based on thecombination of quantitative and qualitative methods, expounds the relationship between thechange of population and regional economy, and finally from the aspects of the totalpopulation, population structure, population migration and analysis of change of population inLiaoning province and its impact on economic development.The fourth part, according to the prominent population problems currently affecting theeconomic development of Liaoning Province, and proposes some correspondingcountermeasures and suggestions.
