Abstract:The implementation of programs in2005marked the new curriculum reform of ideological and political theory courses entered a new phase. With the reform being further developed, teaching exists and service for learning. The ultimate goal of education is to make students’ concept interiorized. Respecting students, admitting their subject position and developing their main body role are very familiar with teachers. But on the whole,"indoctrination" still prevails in ideological and political lessons, improve students’ ideological and political consciousness and make them develop comprehensively. The goal haven’t achieved yet."Problem Based Learning" fully reflects the ideas of students’ self-exploring and cooperative learning. Teaching ideas, objective tasks, teaching organization and the evaluation of teaching quality are different from traditional teaching. There is a great significant for further develop of teaching reform.The study, which is on the basis of comprehensives literature at home and abroad mainly adopt literature method, questionnaires, interviews and lessons learned. The application of "problem based learning" is study from the theory and practice of the ideological and political course, and summarized a complete set of methods and strategies for the implementation.The study is discussed from four aspects after the introductory research background, significance and methods of academic research at home and abroad. Its main contents:The first part provides an overview of problem-based learning and introduced the meaning and historical development, discussed the main features, objectives, functions and general flow. The second part study from guiding ideology and theoretical basis of "problem-based learning", and give an empirical research. The third part is the "problem based learning" application of ideological and political theory courses researched the principles and strategies the problem of design, evaluation system, teachers and students role. The fourth part is teaching examples and practical reflection of "problem-based learning". Using the teaching practice of "the road of socialist transformation" to explore the successful and confused. The innovation of this study is that:the perspective of the ideological and political education teaching reform by the "teaching" turn to "learning", the teaching basis points by the textbook return of students "life", to provide active learning chances and raise the overall quality of students.
