Based on the current situation of the fine arts training market in Kunming and personal working experience, through interviews and questionary surveys, and carries out a pilot study on marketing strategies applied by Kunming’s children fine arts training institutions under the guidance of STP theory.4P theory and4S theory in marketing.This thesis is divided into four parts:The first part presents the background and significance of the study on Kunming’s children fine arts training market, indicates the research and technological methods, explains relevant marketing theories and terms such as STP theory,4P theory,4C theory, service marketing, experiential marketing, relationship marketing and event marketing, and emphasizes the practical significance of applying these theories to the development of Kunming’s children fine arts training institutions.The second part studies the demand and supply of Kunming’s children fine arts training market according to the data analysis on marketing of the training base in2011and2012, and then summarizes the current situation of the demand and supply of Kunming’s children fine arts training market and its characteristics.The third part further explains the market segmentation, the selection of target market and the market positioning of training industry on the basis of STP theory, and takes Tonghua children fine arts training base as an marketing example to figure out how the training enterprises in Kunming realize market positioning.The final part explains the application of brand strategy, pricing strategy, location selection strategy, advertising and public relations strategy and staff and sales promotion strategy in Kunming market by analyzing various marketing strategies applied in the operation of Tonghua children fine arts training base. Meanwhile.the recent innovation achievements in market operation studies and some innovative marketing concepts such as customer relationship marketing, experiential marketing and event marketing will be involved in and relevant analysis of strategies and suggestions will be included in this part. In the end, the thesis will suggest that providing high-quality service, high value and customer satisfaction is the basis of marketing strategies applied in the children fine arts training.
