Study On Teaching Cost Management Of Private Colleges

Our country has entered into the important period for the development ofknowledge-based economy, and also the development of human capital theory. Boththe society and individuals attach much importance to higher education. The countryand people of all walks of life have expended investment in higher education. Thishas also offered a sound environment for higher education. Meanwhile, structuralreform of higher education has been in a crucial stage in our country. What collegesand universities must take into consideration seriously is how to improve the useefficiency of education resources and how to improve the investment-output ratio ofnational education fund.In our country, education resources are extremely deficient. We must give morepeople the access to a good education with limited resources. Higher education hascontinuously advanced its degree in opening and exchanging, especially since Chinaformally became a member of WTO. With the increasingly drastic competition ineducation industry, private college must enhance its cost management and increasebenefits while running a college. As an significant part of college’s financialmanagement, the management in education fund is an important task to organizefinancial activities and to deal with financial relations.Therefore, this article offers higher education a theoretical guide in adopting costmanagement by using related study theory and literature, integrating domestic realityof private colleges as well as studying college’s cost management. It also perfectscollege’s financial management system, improves the comprehensive use of highereducation resources and raises levels of college management with limited resources.Taking the situation of Yanching Institute of Technology as an example, this article proposes to consider the human cultivation as the starting point and ending point ofeducation cost management. It also proposes that faculties in private college shouldenhance the idea of cost management, master the techniques and methods of costmanagement in a scientific and systematic way and develop a good hobby of costcontrol in order to make beneficial contribution an improving college’s costmanagement level.
