A Study On Talent Cultivating Mode Of Agriculture-related Specialty Of Local Higher Vocational Colleges

In recent years, under the guide and promotion of the policy on vigorously developing higher vocational education, our country’s agriculture-related professions achieve the new and rapid development, playing an important role in cultivating high-skilled talents and promoting agriculture and agricultural and rural economy development. But currently in the process of cultivating talents, higher vocational agriculture-related specialty have a series of problems that cannot be ignored. Especially in main links, such as professional setting, teaching content and curriculum system arrangement, teaching mode reform and so on, limited in subject teaching, higher vocational agriculture-related specialty still cannot reflect their characteristics very well, leading to student’s weaken operational ability and low skill level, and affecting talent cultivating quality. Therefore, it is urgent to strengthen the personnel cultivating mode research of agricultural higher vocational education and improve the talent cultivating mode of agriculture-related specialty at present.Combining with the characteristics of higher vocational education, through the comparative analysis on typical and successful exploration cases of agriculture-related specialty talent cultivating mode of local higher vocational colleges in Hunan province, referring to related theory and practice experience at home and abroad, this study analyses the training objectives of agricultural higher vocational talents, and discusses the basic construction idea of higher vocational agriculture-related specialty talent cultivating mode. Local higher vocational colleges should aim at the main training objective, focus on agriculture; based on agriculture and rural economic development needs, oriented by employment; regard students’ comprehensive quality and their abilities’ sustainable development as training core; highlight the practical teaching and promote the combination of industry,university and research; according to social demands, find out the breakthrough point of the demand and service from economic, political, cultural and ecological aspects, carry on deep analysis, clarify the reform content and objectives, make and implement plans, improve the traditional professions and cultivate techniques applied and entrepreneurial talents for the new rural construction.Through this study, the author hope to improve the cognition towards agriculture-related specialty talent training mode which is based on ability education, enrich and perfect the connotation of talent cultivation model, preliminarily build distinctive agricultural higher vocational education personnel cultivating mode and provide beneficial reference for the reform of talent cultivating mode and the improvement of talent cultivating quality of higher vocational agricultural professional.
