Since1999, with the adoption of enrollment-expanding system of higher education, the supply and demand of college graduate labour market has changed dramatically and student employment difficulties has emerged. With the employment problem, college students in the labour market also appeared in a special phenomenon,which is a part of graduates rely on interpersonal relationship in the fierce competition in the talent showing itself, successfully find a job, namely the social public opinion prevails "competition of family background". However, in reality, the interpersonal network plays the dominating role in the job-seeking process. But our present college enrollment has brought a lot of general human capital talent, make human capital in employment market is weakening, provides space for the human capital function. Based on the social phenomenon, the author tries to discuss the concept of interpersonal capital,its application and combine them with human capital theory to explore the main factors that determine employment outcomes and its impact mechanism.This paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter describes the research backgrounds,its meaning, research purpose and the structure. The second chapter is a literature review of student employment difficulties, human capital theory and its impact on employment outcomes. Chapter three focuses on the analysis of the mechanism that how human capital theory and interpersonal capital theory help promote the employment of college graduates. It defines the concept of interpersonal capital and discusses two impact mechanism on employment outcomes (human capital theory and interpersonal capital theory) and the research hypothesis. The fourth chapter is the data collection and the empirical analysis of the data.This chapter first introduces the design of the survey question-are and then tests its reliability and validity. The research is an empirical study. The interaction among variables is probed in multiple linear regression. The population studied is the2014Graduates in main-stream universities located in Changsha or graduates before2014. The fifth chapter is the conclusion and discussions. In addition, from the point of view of the whole society, impact of social capital on employment results must be controlled in a reasonable range, the general effect is not conducive to social justice and development, also affect the talent cultivating and flow. Therefore, needs the government, schools, employers, students and their families together, the establishment of an open and fair employment market.
